Email Security

The inbox is still the front door

Filtering, impersonation defence, domain authentication and user training — because the most reliable route into any organisation remains an email somebody trusts.

The overwhelming majority of successful intrusions begin with an email. Not a sophisticated exploit — a convincing message. An invoice that looks like it came from a supplier, a password-reset notice that looks like it came from Microsoft, a request from the managing director that arrives while he is known to be travelling.

Defending the inbox takes three layers that most organisations only half-implement: filtering that catches what signature-based scanning misses, domain authentication so attackers cannot send as you, and people who have been trained to recognise the handful of patterns that actually matter.

Email security

Layered defence for the channel attackers reach for first.

  • Advanced email filtering and anti-spam
  • Anti-phishing and impersonation protection
  • Business Email Compromise (BEC) defence
  • Attachment sandboxing and URL rewriting
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC implementation
  • Microsoft 365 security hardening
  • Email encryption and archiving
  • Email continuity

Security awareness training

No filter catches everything, and the messages that get through are by definition the convincing ones. That makes your people the last control — and the only one that can be improved without buying anything.

Effective training is not an annual slide deck. It is short, frequent, and specific to the attacks your organisation actually receives, combined with simulated phishing that measures whether behaviour is changing. The objective is not a zero click rate, which is unachievable; it is a workforce that reports suspicious messages quickly, because reporting speed is what limits damage.

  • Simulated phishing campaigns with per-department reporting
  • Short, role-relevant training modules rather than annual compliance sessions
  • Clear internal reporting route, so staff know exactly what to do
  • Measurement over time — click rate and, more importantly, report rate

What you get

What working with us looks like

Beyond the built-in filter

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace include baseline filtering. Targeted attacks are designed to pass it.

Nobody can send as you

SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured properly, so an attacker cannot spoof your domain to your own customers.

Impersonation caught

Detection for display-name spoofing and lookalike domains — the techniques behind most invoice fraud.

Attachments opened safely

Unknown files detonated in a sandbox before they reach a mailbox, not after.

Links checked at click time

A URL that was clean on delivery and weaponised an hour later is still checked when the user clicks it.

Mail that keeps working

Continuity so that an outage at your mail provider does not stop the business communicating.
